This Privacy Policy explains how Tayseerul Quran (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use our website at tayseerulquran.com, our iOS and Android mobile applications, and the online Quran teaching services we provide (together, the “Services”).

Our mobile apps provide access to the same account, classes and features as our website. By using the Services you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

Tayseerul Quran is an online Quran education provider offering one-to-one and group classes for children and adults. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at info@tayseerulquran.com. We are the data controller responsible for your information.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information needed to deliver and improve the Services:

• Account & contact details — name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country and time zone, and (for students who are minors) the parent or guardian’s contact details.
• Learning information — the student’s age group, enrolled course, class schedule, attendance, lesson history, teacher feedback and progress reports.
• Payment information — when you pay for classes, your card or account details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). We do not store full card numbers on our servers; we retain only a record of the transaction (e.g., amount, date, plan, and a payment reference).
• Communications — messages you exchange with teachers, coordinators or support (including in-app chat and WhatsApp messages), and any support requests you send us.
• Device & usage data — app version, device type and operating system, a push-notification token, general log data and basic usage information used to keep the app secure and working correctly.

3. Children’s privacy

Many of our students are children. Accounts for minors are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who provides consent on the child’s behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child without parental or guardian involvement. We use a child’s information solely to deliver their Quran lessons, track their progress and communicate with their parent or guardian. A parent or guardian may review, correct or request deletion of their child’s information at any time by contacting info@tayseerulquran.com.

4. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and schedule your classes.
• To connect students with teachers and deliver live lessons.
• To process payments, subscriptions and receipts.
• To send class reminders, confirmations and important service notices (by push notification, email or WhatsApp).
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. App permissions

Our mobile apps may ask for the following permissions. Each is optional, used only for the stated purpose, and can be changed at any time in your device settings:

• Notifications — to send class reminders and updates.
• Camera & microphone — only when you join a live video class, so your teacher can see and hear you. We do not access the camera or microphone at any other time.
• Storage / photos — only if you choose to download a certificate or upload a file.

6. Push notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service) to remind you about upcoming classes and account updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

7. How we share information

We share personal information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Services, and only to the extent needed for that purpose:

• Payment processing — Stripe and PayPal.
• Push notifications — Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
• Live classes — our online classroom and, where used, third-party conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom) to deliver video lessons.
• Messaging — WhatsApp (Meta) when we send you class reminders or you contact us there.
• Teachers & coordinators — the staff assigned to a student receive the information needed to teach and support that student.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and Services. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

8. Data security

All information submitted through the Services is protected in transit with SSL/TLS encryption, and is stored on secure servers with access limited to authorised staff. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

9. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterwards only as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@tayseerulquran.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

11. Deleting your account and data

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by emailing info@tayseerulquran.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Once we verify your request, we will delete your personal information, except for any records we are legally required to retain (such as payment/tax records). This option is available to all app and website users.

12. International transfers

We operate internationally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by the service providers listed above. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your information continues to be protected in line with this policy.

13. Third-party links

The Services may link to third-party websites or tools that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and significant changes may be communicated to you directly. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
